happy mlk day to everyone! i'm enjoying the benefits of being in america - school holiday on the first day of school! lazing around and totally not wanting to get my butt off my bed, literally. maybe it's whininess about school starting tomorrow that's manifesting in this manner, i don't know.

i do like doing everything in bed though, 'cept for maybe eating, which is really a love-hate r'ship. i enjoy the eating bit, but if there are crumbs after or you spill anything liquid, well, that's just a pain in the ______, isn't it? anyhoo, i've taken on the (silent) resolution of reading more this year. it ain't so silent anymore now that it's out here on public space, but i'm hoping that doesn't ruin anything. i downloaded like a million ibooks to read on my phone, and i'm also reading this new one about marriage by tim keller. allll these while factoring in time for my fashion magazines and cookbooks.

school starts tomorrow, and i'm pretty excited about the first class. it's photography with an slr, which means getting film and learning to develop it in the darkroom. i'm so excited i could dance - dance like aunt carol!
