the bridezilla in me is starting to be overwhelmed with the number of things i have to do. too soon?
actually, i exaggerate. it ain't so bad. but there are certainly many many more things to consider than i had anticipated. i suppose it's really cos i want to rush a little while i'm having this winter break (and while kenneth's with me), so that kenneth has a to-do list when he gets back to singapore - alone. knowing me, there are manyyy details i want him to look into on my behalf, so i'm hoping he doesn't have second thoughts about the proposal. hahaha.
somehow i think i might be a little late on the wedding planning bandwagon. i've heard how girls start planning since they were, what, eight? seeing that i'm, erm, not eight, i think it's safe to say that i've a lot of catching up to do.
so far, it's been really fun.
i love planning! i get to make lists! i get to make a list of lists! and then crossing out the items that we've accomplished. i also get to sketch ideas of what i want the dinner to look like, my dress, our monogram, etc. super stoked! i'm also loving the fact that kenneth is supportive of my plans thus far. we're really excited at the things we want to do, but even more excited of the life that both of us will be sharing at the end of this big party/celebration.
been having an earworm this past week of the most apt song ever. such a pleasant tune, and such gentle lyrics to be resounding in my mind. a reminder, perhaps, of 2012?
"all the way my Savior leads me,
what have i to ask beside?
can i doubt His tender mercy,
who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
here by faith in Him to dwell!
for i know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well;
for i know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well."
