iiiiii just came back from the first audience-rehearsal for ndp.yk had some tickets so we got to attend it.the parade this year was sooo much more interesting than last year's.at least the storyline was clear and no strange skating-scene plot.
initially i wasn't so keen on attending because i'm still a leetle frightened from my first experience of ndp some 20 years ago.tt was the time when i was first introduced to body odour and sweaty pple and squeezing.but then kenneth assured me tt we wouldn't have to squeeze and tt there were individual seats,so i agreed.
i'm so glad i did.i particularly liked the leetle snippets of various national day speeches by the different pm(s) and the 70s and 80s songs feature.i also liked the video featuring the kids;they say the funniest things and the video editing was quite cute.note to self:learn how to do the kids video effect.and and and my favourite part was the army men marching of course.yums.HOHO.GO AIR FORCE!
apart from the costumes tt i dun get (i think they were trying to do some symbolism thingy, but i'm not sure either),it was overall a very good experience.i enjoyed myself a lot-made me very proud to be singaporean, for tt 2+ hours at least.we're reallie quite brilliant in terms of achievement.if only we were better socially and culturally and watever-ally(i can't think of the right word for needing blatant reminders to allow passengers to get off train first),sgp would be the best place to be.
having said tt,i love sgp.we're good stuff.could be better,but i think we're pretty good.-thumbs up-

paying homage to the late mj.
this is my favourite mj song (ed,i was trying to tell you abt this song tt day.hope this video helps!)i like this one and black or white.both mtvs have stayed in my mind since the first time i watched them.very very very cool videos and probably one of the things tt sparked my creativity ever since.
i'm not a mj fan,but i do think he's one of the more talented artistes i've ever seen/heard.i grew up listening to his music cos he was such a hit during my younger-younger days.
oh well.he's not the first of famous pple to die and i suppose i just have to get used to receiving such news of famous pple dying and realise tt nothing lasts forever.
