i've never thought that this song could be used in this way.
but it was, and i like it.


i also like that glee did this tribute episode so that everyone would find closure in finn hudson, and eventually cory monteith. i wonder how many of those tears shed by the actors in the episode were real. i know for a fact that if i were this close to a person, having been together for four seasons and watching us all grow from nothingness into one of the biggest pop cultures today, i would be bawling the entire time i had to act/sing. it wouldn't have been possible to film continuously.

closure is good. it helps one move on and come to terms with reality once again. it's the forgetting that is bad. and i hope i will never be that person who forgets the people dearest to me when they are long gone.

once upon a time, i used to think boys are lotsss cuter (cue: kai on ellen). but if the good Lord blesses me with a daughter like that, i would be most thankful to Him. she's a little quirky (possibly bordering on insane, since she thinks there are fireworks going off), and i like that trait so much.


my favorite part is the trumpet sounds. haha. totally awesome father-daughter r'ship.

not that i think they need this added publicity since their lines are mad long, but everyone please head over to grub at bishan park for lovely alfresco dining! opened by my friend's brother-in-law, i have no photos to share because i inhaled everything before the i-need-to-take-photos realization set in.

oh well.

since it's relatively near, i will most definitely be there again and this time i'll remember to shoot some pictures for everybody. just so you know, i had the portabello mushroom, chilli con carne, onion gratin and risotto, while neth had the much-raved about pork belly. dessert was churros, chocolate pots and panna cotta. i highly recommend the choc pots just because.
